Haya Taxi and Haya Taxi Driver terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to Your access to, and use of the Application (defined hereinbelow).
The Application is operated by HayaTaxiCo. and its subsidiaries, associates, licensees, and affiliated companies “Haya Taxi”.
You acknowledge that Haya Taxi is providing you with a revocable license to use limited features of the Application and is not selling the Application or any features or technologies contained therein.By continuing usage of the Application, You are consenting to be bound by these T&Cs. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL THESE T&Cs BEFORE YOU USE THE APPLICATION AND FEATURES CONTAINED THEREIN.
If You find any of the T&Cs unacceptable, do not tender your acceptance to use the Application or avail any of its features. YOUR AGREEMENT TO THESE T&Cs SHALL OPERATE AS A BINDING AND LEGALLY ENFORCEABLE AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND ANI IN RESPECT OF THE FEATURES OFFERED/AVAILED USING THE MOBILE APPLICATION.I. DEFINITIONSAll of the defined and capitalized terms in these T&Cs will have the meaning assigned to them here below:“Account” refers to the User’s account on the mobile application Haya Taxi enabling the use of the Application by the User“Application” shall mean any of the mobile applications “Haya Taxi ” and/or “Haya Taxi Driver ” and shall mean and include any updates provided by any of them from time to time.“Registration Data” shall mean and may include the present, valid, true and accurate name, Email ID, age and such other information as may be required by Haya Taxi from time to time, provided by the Users at the time of registration on the mobile application Haya Taxi or otherwise.“User” shall mean persons who have created an Account and use the Application."You", “Your" or “Yourself” shall mean reference to the User accessing the Application. Emergency Data SharingWe want to make sure that riders and drivers have access to tools that help them stay safe when they use our service. To help you get the help you need in an emergency situation, you can call emergency contact through the Haya Taxi app and, where available, we will share your location and other trip details with the emergency contact call taker. Trip details that we will share are your estimated current location at the time your emergency call was placed, the car’s make, model, color, and license plate, your name and phone number, your pickup and drop-off locations, and your driver’s name.It is up to you whether you want to share your location and other trip details information with the emergency contact call taker. You can turn location and information sharing off by accessing the Emergency Data Sharing page in your Privacy Settings.The location that we will share with the emergency contact call taker is your latitude and longitude, as determined by your device’s operating system at the time that you placed the call. Your device’s location information may not be accurate, particularly in dense urban environments.In order to protect you, Haya Taxi will retain your location and trip information as well as information about the times when you use our app to call emergency contact. Haya Taxi may keep this information as long as permitted by law. Haya Taxi will never record or listen to your emergency contact calls or make a transcript of your calls.
Background ChecksAll drivers wanting to use the Haya Taxi app are required to undergo a screening process, like motor vehicle record and background checks, to ensure safety and compliance with our criteria.We will permanently deactivate a driver’s account if a routine motor vehicle record or background check uncovers a violation of Haya Taxi safety standards or of other criteria required by local regulators.Fraud or Illegitimate BehaviorFraudulent or illegitimate behavior undermines the trust on which Haya Taxi is built. We may deactivate any account(s) associated with this type of activity, including: abusing promotions; collusion between rider and driver; disputing fares for fraudulent or illegitimate reasons; or duplicate accounts. Accurate Personal InformationThe Haya Taxi app is designed to give riders identifying information about drivers and their vehicles, like their name, profile picture, vehicle model and license plate number, before the trip begins. Inaccurate or outdated information creates confusion among riders and can diminish their experience with Haya Taxi
We will deactivate your account for activities such as: providing Haya Taxi with inaccurate information; allowing someone else to use your account; and taking a trip using an unapproved "hayataxi.com"In addition, we will take action to prevent any driver whose required documentation becomes invalid — like a driver’s license that expires — from going online until the driver provides Haya Taxi with updated information.Give riders and drivers some personal spaceWe all value our personal space and privacy. It’s OK to chat with other people in the car. But please don’t comment on someone’s appearance. As a passenger, if you need to make a phone call, keep your voice down to avoid disturbing your driver or other riders. And don’t touch or flirt with other people in the car. Children must be supervisedOnly adults can have Haya Taxi rider account. If your child is using your account, a parent or guardian must be with them at all times.Feedback makes us all betterWhether you are a rider or driver, please rate your journey at the end of the trip. Honest feedback helps ensure that everyone is accountable for their behavior. This accountability creates a respectful, safe environment for both riders and drivers. And if something happens during a ride — whether it’s a traffic accident or an argument — make sure to report it by tapping “about us” then "help" in the app so that our customer support team can follow up
